Admission Protocols

  • Payments for our services are expected to be 100 percent before admission and treatment.
  • Pre-op lab investigations are done a day or few days before surgery.
  • We then admit a day or a few days prior to surgery.
  • You are expected to come with your x-rays, MRI or CT scan and laboratory results if any.
  • If you are on any medications (painkillers, anti-hypertensive, anti- diabetic etc.), please bring them to the hospital and hand it over to the Nurse.
  • Please if you are on any blood thinners (anticoagulant medications e.g., Warfarin, Clopidogrel, Aspirin), let your doctor and nurses know. This is very important!
  • Any medical conditions should be made known to us.
  • Come with your toiletries (soap, 2 small towels, sponge, body cream, roll-on, perfume, body spray, toothbrush and toothpaste).
  • Come with a loose Short and T-shirt.
  • Only one relative is allowed to stay with the patient in the room and large number of visitors will not be allowed. Please keep your relatives away to prevent infection.
  • Complimentary breakfasts are served to the patient and a relative, but lunch and dinner are solely your responsibility.
  • Covid -19 test must be done by the patient and relative that will stay with him/her within 24/48hrs prior to admission. This policy may change according to mandates from NCDC.
  • All patients and relative coming in must adhere to Covid-19 protocols.
  • Visiting time: – Working days: 12noon – 2pm, 5pm – 7pm; weekends 12noon – 2pm, 4pm – 8pm. This is strictly observed.
  • Wearing of facemask is mandatory. Our policy is No facemask, No Entry. Please keep your mask on in the hospital.
  • There are intercoms in the rooms. The numbers for the different areas are pasted on the wall inside the rooms. Please call us if you need any assistance.
  • Do notify any member of staff when you need hot water. We will supply on demand.
  • In-patient physiotherapy is included in the bill but home physiotherapy after discharge is between you and the physiotherapy team. It is not included in the hospital bill.
  • If you require a walking frame, commode chair or any other special equipment on discharge, you are expected to buy it for yourself. We do not sell then but we can help source the equipment for you. We will link you with the vendors.
